We love to play with people's minds and tickle their fantasies that is why We sometimes make use of ambiguity in our art, or lead a story to a certain point to leave the rest up to their own imagination. Some of my paintings are simply humorous while others are profound. we have been told that my drawings and paintings are narratives or that they "sing". It makes us so happy when people understand what we want to express. We have been asked if We would also paint a plain landscape or a simple still life.
Then we explaining that we so full of life, so we always need a person or something else that represents life.we rather use a landscape, or a vase full of flowers, or a bowl full of fruits, or whatever as backgrounds - to put the person into a certain atmosphere, or express a certain mood. we am very fascinated by the human body so we study it a lot. That we mostly paint women is not just because we am familiar with them (duh! - lol) but also because we think they're the most beautiful creatures on earth

Our passion for genuine African art, lead us to the works of the Zimbabwean. Their unique relationship with the natural environment and how they portrayed their abused past, was something that we had never seen before. We immediately fell in love with this powerful, energetic art.
We recognized the importance of the Shona culture, and with the support of various museums, organizations, galleries and authors, began to specialize in the Zimbabwean art.
Our aim is to not only promote their art, but for people to have a better understanding of the problems they face, and how these can be overcome. We believe, the more people who are aware of the challenges the Bushmen face, the easier they can progress through their transitional period.
